Workshop to help homeowners make fire-safe changes to homes

Groups in Colorado Springs are hosting a wildfire preparedness workshop, helping homeowners find materials that will help in wildfire-prone areas.
The Fire Adapted Communities Coalition and Lowe's Home Improvement are working together on this. It will be a one-hour workshop on selecting constructions materials and what to watch for.
The workshop is at 11 am in the Lowe's parking lot at 4880 N. Nevada Ave. in Colorado Springs.
