Some workers for Colorado Springs-based Managed Business Solutions LLC are among those eligible to apply for aid meant for people who lose their jobs because of foreign competition.
The U.S. Department of Labor said Friday that the employees are among about 2,300 employees at companies in 14 states who are eligible to apply for the aid. The exact number of affected Colorado employees wasn't available.
Workers who can apply for the Trade Adjustment Assistance could receive re-employment services, job training and help covering expenses of training, a job search or relocation. Qualifying workers 50 and older could receive aid to cover part of the difference between wages at their old and new jobs, if their pay is less.
