Tiger Woods remains two strokes off the lead as he makes the turn in the second round of the Masters.

Woods picked up his only birdie on the front side at the par-5 second, where he chipped up next to the flag for a short putt. But he gave the stroke back at No. 4, failing to get up and down after he flew his approach shot over a bunker behind the green, and stands at 4 under.

Woods trails first-round leader Fred Couples, who shot an even-par 36 on the front nine and is now tied with Ian Poulter and Ricky Barnes at 6 under. Poulter and Barnes are both 2 under for the round at Augusta National.
