Woman who allegedly provided a gun to Ebel is out on bond

The woman accused of buying the gun used to kill Colorado Department of Corrections Executive Director Tom Clements has bonded out of jail.

According to Arapahoe County Jail officials, Stevie Marie Vigil, 22, bonded out of jail. Officials would not elaborate when she actually bonded out.

Vigil is accused of buying the gun and later giving it to Evan Spencer Ebel. Her bond was originally set at $ 25,000.

Ebel is the prime suspect in the shooting death of Clements and Golden pizza delivery driver Nathan Leon. Ebel has an extensive criminal history while Vigil has no record at all.
Vigil still faces a felony charge for unlawfully purchasing a firearm.
