We have an update on one of several suspects linked to the murder of a Pueblo man. This morning one of them got sentenced to prison.

Elizabeth Abeyta pleaded guilty to felony theft and was sentenced to two and a half years in prison. The judge said Abeyta and two other women started the chain of events that lead to the murder of Robert Piserchio in December 2009.

The Pueblo County Sheriff's Office says the women stole Piserchio's wallet and bragged that he was an easy target. Three men later went to Piserchio's home, where the victim was beaten, stabbed and set on fire.

An autopsy concluded Piserchio died from a heart attack.
