Woman robbed in her own home overnight

A man robbed a woman in her own home early Wednesday morning, as her two children were in another room.

Colorado Springs Police report that a woman was watching TV in her living room just after 12:30 this morning, when a man came in and demanded, "Where are your pills?" The man grabbed her purses and left. The purse had several prescription medications in it, along with her personal information.

The woman had left her front door open and her screen door unlocked. The man walked in through the unlocked screen door.

The robbery happened in the 4400 block of Ramblewood Drive.

The suspect is described white man 18 - 23 years old, 5'10' with a thin brown mustache. He was wearing dark clothing and a black beanie cap.
