As warm and dry as it has been in Southern Colorado, it's hard to imagine all of the snow in the mountains.
But recent snow storms have increased avalanche danger throughout the high country.
Saturday alone, there were two avalanches in the high country, one in Grand County in Northwestern Colorado and another in Larimer County.
In that one, a woman had to be rescued after being trapped on a rock.
She was right next to the avalanche when it happened and was afraid to move on her own because she could trigger another slide.
Crews were able to get her down safely.
