Woman identified in single fatal car accident

The Colorado State Patrol is currently investigation a single fatal vehicle accident that occurred on Friday at around 11 a.m.. The accident occurred approximately 14 miles east of Walsenburg on Highway 10.

The investigaton says that a 2001 GMC Jimmy, driven by a 65 year 65 year old Linda Colvin of Crowley, was traveling westbound on Highway 10. The GMC Jimmy went off the road when the driver over corrected, and rolled into a barbed wire fence. The driver of the vehicle was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.

Drugs and alcohol are not suspected in the accident, but inattentive to driver is being considered as a primary factor in the accident. The speed and crash still remain under investigation.
