Woman found dead in river IDed as missing mom

SILVERTHORNE, Colo. (AP) - Authorities have confirmed that a woman found dead in a river near Silverthorne is a missing 41-year-old mother of three. The Summit County coroner has identified the woman as Stephanie Roller Bruner. The Silverthorne woman's husband reported her missing Tuesday after she left home Monday night and didn't return.

Her body was found in the Blue River Friday. Silverthorne police haven't said whether they suspect foul play in her death. The coroner's office says an autopsy likely won't be done until early next week.

The Denver Post reports that Bruner's family says she had filed for divorce Nov. 1. Her sister, Ramona Roller, tells the Post that Bruner was laid off from her job with Summit County in October.
