Woman accepts plea deal in Grand Junction slaying

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (AP) - A woman who was charged with murder in a Grand Junction slaying has pleaded guilty to lesser charges in a plea agreement.

The Grand Junction Daily Sentinel reports (http://tinyurl.com/o6tz4on ) 29-year-old Sadie Camis pleaded guilty Wednesday to identity theft and tampering with evidence. Prosecutors dropped murder charges in return.

Camis was charged in the October slaying of Rigoberto Luna. Police say Luna was choked to death with a lug wrench and his credit cards and vehicle were stolen.

Camis faces up to 15 years in prison at her July 29 sentencing.

Aaron Ungles pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in Luna's death and Nathan Dennis pleaded guilty to assault, robbery and violent crime. Both are 28 and both are scheduled to be sentenced on July 25.

Dennis was identified as Camis' boyfriend.
