Winter preps for spring storm

CDOT has crews ready to go as another blast of winter weather is moving in.
They sent folks home early and they'll be back around 8pm.
They'll work a twelve hour shift and then another shift will come on.
They say they have around 33 pieces of snow plow equipment ready to go and want to remind folks because of the recent warm temps there's likely to be wet spots so there is potential for ice.
"We tell people to watch out for the bridge structures, we also tell people despite how hard we try to keep up with the weather sometimes mother nature gets ahead of us so allow extra time to get to where you're going," said Gary Heller with CDOT.
Those with emergency management also want to make sure folks are prepared, they're reminding you to have a charged phone, food, water, and warm clothing in your car.
