Winter driving conditions blamed in accidents

Winter weather is making driving conditions in Teller County and parts of El Paso County treacherous.

Several slide offs have been reported in the Airport Blvd. and Powers Blvd area.  Also the Colorado State Patrol was at an accident on Highway 67 earlier today. The single car rollover was reported around 9am at mile marker 54 just north of Cripple Creek. The driver was not seriously injured.  Colorado State Patrol says that slick conditions are also a problem on Highway 24 west of Woodland Park, Highway 115 south of Colorado Springs, and snow it starting to stick in Colorado Springs making roadways increasingly dangerous.  Right now though, neither Colorado State Patrol or Colorado Springs Police Department are on "cold reporting" status, so if you are in an accident you have to notify your local law enforcement agency.
