Winners wanted

Looking for an easy win?

Well, tonight might be your night if you by a ticket for the $312 million dollar Mega Millions jackpot scheduled for this evening's drawing.

Tonya Caudill, manager of the Acorn gas station on the corner of 8th Street and Cimarron in Colorado Springs says, "We see increased ticket sales. When it gets this big, we can see a 30 to 40-percent increase in sales."

Caudill adds that people who normally do not purchase tickets are coming in and buying $5 and $10 dollars worth of tickets in hopes of winning.

We caught up with a Kansas family who was driving through Colorado who saw the Mega Millions sign below the gas station and came in to buy a ticket.

"Somebody's gotta win. We thought we'd try it. It's nothing more than that. I mean, we played before, but we don't play that often and we thought, what the heck, we'll try," says Chris Gaines.

You have until 7:30 p.m. tonight to try your luck and buy a ticket.
