Winner announced in controversial homecoming queen race

On Saturday, we learn the winner of the bizarre race for homecoming queen at CSU Pueblo.
It's sophomore Jasmine Wells. She was crowned at the game today. Wells is the least controversial of the three homecoming queen candidates.
Another candidate was DeMarques Taylor. He's an openly gay man, who told us earlier this week that he just felt more comfortable running for queen.
The third candidate is Juanita Whitaker, 60. She was accused of a fatal shooting back in 1989 at a Denver women's shelter. She was found not guilty by reason of insanity in the shooting of those 3 people, including the woman who died.
