Windy weather ahead for Thursday

Showers and storms will linger late, then clouds and stars will mix over the News 5 viewing area, with gusty winds moving in Thursday (cold front moving through). The wind may increase, but the chance of showers and storms will decrease, with above-average highs. Friday, plan on less wind and cooler temps (but warmer than average), with increasing clouds later, leading to a cooler, showery weekend for most of us (with snow showers over the higher elevations). Sunshine and temps will increase Monday through Wednesday.
