Wind uproots 30 foot Spruce

Winds gusts measuring up to 87 miles per hour have caused several trees to be uprooted and even knocked over powerlines. News First 5 viewer Detleft Sarbok sent us this photo of 30 foot tall Spruce that was uprooted at his home. The tree damaged a corner of the house.

Colorado Springs Utilities reports several uprooted trees have knock over out power lines.
There are numerous small power outages around the city and and CSU crews are working to restore power to all affected areas.
