A man accused of killing Denver Broncos cornerback Darrent Williams in a drive-by shooting will soon decide whether he'll take the stand in his own defense.
Attorneys for 26-year-old Willie Clark will begin presenting their defense case Friday. Prosecutors finished presenting evidence Thursday and Clark told a Denver district judge he had not yet decided whether to testify.
Clark, a suspected gang member, faces first-degree murder and other charges. Clark's attorneys say he is innocent and the scapegoat in the case.
Williams was shot in his limousine on New Year's Day 2007 after leaving a Denver nightclub where there had been an altercation.
