Widow of pilot find some closure in bin Laden's death

Captain Jason Dahl will always be close to his wife's heart.

"These are his personal wings," says Sandy Dahl as she points to the pilot wings on her jacket lapel.

Jason's life ended on September 11, 2001. He was the pilot of United Flight 93 which crashed into a field in Pennsylvania.

Sandy says that day and the image of Osama bin Laden have haunted her for the past 9 years.
"I asked for Christmas that he be caught, because I knew he was out in able to and he'd be able to try to plot and kill others," says Dahl.

Sandy says she feels some relief and closure, but understands bin Laden's death is not an end to terror.

"I'm relieved and there is trepidation. I'm relieved he's not the leader of the band anymore," says Dahl.

As for Jason, his memory lives with Sandy.

"I know he's happy with this and I'm sure he's in a better place and I believe Osama bin Laden is getting the justice he deserves now," says Dahl.

Sandy Dahl lives in the Denver-metro area.
