After a few days of drier weather, the showers are back.
Just about everyone has a good chance of seeing showers from late morning Friday through the evening hours. Some showers could produce some heavy rain. We're not expecting any severe weather. However, because the storms will be slow movers, if a storm gets big enough, it could produce some flooding.
Because we'll have more clouds and showers around, temperatures will cool slightly. A few lingering showers will be around for your Saturday. But don't expect these to be as widespread as Friday's storms.
Sunday we'll dry back out and expect a really nice second half of the weekend. Highs will be a little above average as mostly sunny skies will be the rule. The beginning of next week also looks nice as the rain will stay away through midweek, and temperatures stay above normal.
Enjoy the warmth... Meteorologist Valerie Abati
