What to do with leftover Easter candy

It's Thrifty Thursday here on News First 5. If you have a lot of leftover Easter candy around, there are several ways to use it up.

1. Chop up leftover chocolate and add it to your favorite baking recipe. Imagine how gooey those chocolate chunk cookies will be.

2. You can also melt your chocolate in a double boiler or fondue pot to make a yummy dip for cut up fruit.

3. Extra Peeps? Use them in place of marshmallows for smores or even in Rice Krispy treats.

These tips come from Money Saving Mom and SheKnows.com
