In Pueblo, the HARP Authority is talking about the next big expansion project. The new phase includes expanding the water channel from Santa Fe Ave. underneath I-25 to Fountain Creek. Santa Fe Ave. would also be shifted to make more room for development.

The HARP Foundation worked with the designing firm Design Studios West to come up with the plans, which include a new aquatic center, another hotel, expansion of the convention center and a training arena for the Professional Bull Riders.

"If you go to San Antonio, they just expand the riverwalk. So it's the same thing here, hopefully this project will grow as the Pueblo community grows," said Jim Munch, Executive Director of the HARP Authority.

Munch says these are long term expansion plans. They hope to fund the project with grants and donations.
