Third Annual No Child Left Inside Event

The "No Child Left Inside" campaign is a national initiative to get children outside to exercise, explore, and enjoy nature. Sponsored by the No Child Left Inside Coalition, this campaign includes more than 1,500 organizations across the U.S. Cheyenne Mountain State Park invites families to come and discover the wonder and beauty of Colorado's natural resources, while enjoying a fun variety of recreational and educational outdoor activities. Walk, Run, Ride for the Kids

The Walk, Run Ride for the Kids begins at the overflow parking lot at the Pueblo Memorial Airport. Bicyclists will head east, with turnarounds at 5K, 10K and all the way out to the Transportation Test Center and back (38 miles). At the same time, there is a 5K walk and timed run heading west from the airport.
2012 Historic Ghost Walk
Historic Ghost Walk thru the Union Avenue District. The walk begins at El Pueblo Museum and ends at the Southern Colorado Heritage Center. Guided tours leave every 15 minutes. Tickets available at YWCA office,at the door or at the the El Pueblo or Heritage Center Museums
