Commonwheel Artists Labor Day Arts & Crafts Festival

Take a trip to historic Manitou Springs where you can experience 100+ artists booths filled with handmade artistic creations in Manitou Springs' beautiful Memorial park. Enjoy a wide variety of exotic and familiar fun foods in the 10 food booths you will find in a tree-shaded food court. Enjoy live entertainment all day long on our stage area. Since the Festival starts at 10 a.m. it is ideal for the crowds attending the Colorado Springs Balloon Classic to make a day of it.


Labor Day Concert

at Rock Ledge Ranch Historic Site, Colorado Springs, CO

Concert benefiting the Ute Pass firefighters and the Colorado Springs Fire Explorers. Bring your blanket, chairs and a picnic, or buy great food from Vienna Station and listen to Mark Gardner & Rex Rideout, Jody Adams, and the Sister Brothers Bands on the lawn of the Rock Ledge House. Each group will play a 45 minute set. This free concert is a mix of old time acoustic music with fiddle, banjo, guitar, mandolin and more with donations helping firefighters. Foot tapping fun is guaranteed.


The Citadel Farmers Market

Find market favorites like fresh local produce, handcrafted jewelry, fudge, pasta, sauces, cooking oils, baked goods, flowers and more. Located in the parking lot on the corner of Platte and Chelton. Rain or shine, the event will be kid-friendly.


Fort Carson's 4th of July on the 3rd of September

Fort Carson will celebrate 4th of July on the 3rd of September at Iron Horse Park from 5-9 p.m. This event is open to Fort Carson personnel and to the public. The event is held in celebration of the strength and commitment of our local community. Food, beverages and merchandise will be sold for minimal fees. There will be live entertainment. Other activities include prize drawings, inflatable bounce houses, games, crafts and more. A fireworks display will conclude the celebration.


Fountain Fall Festival

The Fountain Fall Festival is an annual event in the Fountain Valley area. It includes a parade that starts at 10 am. Then there are activities in Metcalfe Park for the entire family from 11 am to 4 pm. The park has local vendors, food, information from local business and a tractor pull.


Monument Celebration Festival

Due to the cancellation of the 4th of July festivities in Monument, our celebration was rescheduled to Labor Day! We will have a parade to honor our First Responders, pancake breakfast, street fair, live music, food and activities for the kids, adult beverages, and more!! Join us in downtown Monument for all the fun!


The Colorado Chile Chili Festival

Castle Rock celebrates the second annual Colorado Chile Chili Festival on Saturday, September 1st, 2012 - Labor Day Weekend.
HOT FOOD, COLD DRINKS, and CHILE CHILI FUN! Visit with fabulous chile/chili vendors from the Western Region and beyond! Performing artists will be around to heat things up!
There will be eclectic foods from the Denver Food Trucks for the entire event!


Fiesta Day Parade
Fiesta Day, the biggest attendance day of the Colorado State Fair, begins with fun for the whole family with the Fiesta Day Parade. A rich, cultural display of the Hispanic community; the parade highlights the passion and inspiration of our Hispanic culture. The theme is "Inspiration of Culture"
