Temperatures are in the 60's in most areas to start our Wednesday. Cooler 50's are in the high elevations, and there been some warmer 70's in the Southeastern Plains.
Clouds have been plentiful this morning, but we have not seen any showers locally. There have been a few light showers over the High Country, and we will see isolated showers and thunderstorms close to home today. Today's showers and thunderstorms, however, will not even be as widespread as yesterday's activity.
Aside from those isolated showers or thunderstorms expect an otherwise mostly cloudy sky today. We will be muggy, too, with high temperatures in the 80's and 90's.
Temperatures will gradually ease back with time and the odds increase that you will see rain at your house. Temperatures will continue to step back through the weekend with afternoon showers and thunderstorms.
