Wednesday starts cold and ends warm

Our Wednesday started clear and cold. A cold front moving toward us from the north will kick up the wind again this afternoon and evening. The wind ahead of the cold front warm the temperatures into the upper 50's and lower 60's. The clouds will also increase late this afternoon. They will be thickest well east of I-25, especially out toward the Kansas Border near Lamar and Springfield. They will not be precipitation-producing clouds, but it will be enough to help cool the air a bit after a sunny start to the day. The clouds will move out this evening, and temperatures will cool overnight into the teens and 20's.
