Wednesday started with snow, some of it heavy, across the Wets and Sangres even along I-25 near and south of Highway 50. Colorado City, Beulah, La Veta, and Cuchara reported 3-6" of snow, while 9-12" fell in Rye.
By 10 AM, the snow is mostly done and the clouds will beging thinning and breaking so that the sun comes out this afternoon. Expect a cool day today. Tomorrow will be warmer, but another storm system will move through Colorado Thursday night and Friday morning.
Today's high temperatures will be in the mid-to-upper 40's around Colorado Springs and Monument and also along the Wet Mountains with low-to-mid 50's around Pueblo, Cañon City, and the rest of Southeastern Colorado along and south of the Arkansas River, and near 40 for Teller County.
