The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration is providing a way for meteorologists to get a fresh look of storms.
NOAA announced starting today that a weather satellite, GOES-14, will provide 1-minute data through May 22 to allow special dataset collections for algorithm developers, forecasters and researchers.
The 1-minute data is much faster than the usual time of refresh which is 15 minutes.
