Nine candidates for mayor in Colorado Springs gathered to answer reporter questions on February 22. The forum was sponsored by the Gazette and News First 5.
Colorado Springs government is about to change, with a so-called Strong Mayor form of government, so this position is more important than ever.
The candidates are:
