***A BLIZZARD WARNING FOR 5 AM TO 11 PM MST SAT for NORTHERN EL PASO COUNTY including but not limited to Monument, Black Forest, Peyton and Calhan..

You can expect 4-9" of snow and north winds increasing by late Saturday morning. Initially 25-35 mph...by late afternoon 20-40 mph with gusts to 60 mph.

If you don't have to be on the roads, that is probably best as some roads will become impassable and road closures are certain. Also, check any power lines that may have branches on them around you home and prepare as power outages will be possible. Ranchers should prepare for blizzard conditions with temperatures falling into the 20s.

***A WINTER STORM WARNING FOR 5 AM TO 8 PM MST SAT for TELLER COUNTY and THE RAMPART RANGE.

You can expect 6-12" of snow.

Travel will be dangerous due to snow falling and blowing reducing visibility considerably.

THE SANGRE DE CRISTO AND WET MOUNTAINS ABOVE 10000 FEET.

You can expect 10-20" of snow.

FOR SATURDAY MORNING THROUGH SAT EVENING for THE SANGRE DE CRISTO AND WET MOUNTAINS.

You can expect 6-12" of snow.

THEN, EASTERN LAS ANIMAS COUNTY HAVE A WINTER STORM WATCH starting SAT AFTERNOON THROUGH SATURDAY EVENING

You can expect 2-6" of snow and north/northwest winds 20-40 mph with gusts to 50.
