Warmer Wednesday... then cooler to end the week

High pressure keeps us dry and will help to bring some Wednesday warmth to Colorado. High temperatures will be in the upper 60's and lower 70's for nearly all of our area, though Teller County will be only in the 50's.

A weak disturbance approaching overnight will mean an increase in cloud cover tonight and perhaps even some sloppy spots early Thursday morning around Denver and Castle Rock. Any sloppy weather will be isolated in our area, but just before many of us head off to work Thursday a few rainy or snowy spots are possible, especially high on the Palmer Divide from Monument to Calhan and even into northern Colorado Springs. Temperatures will be cooler for Thursday and Friday as compared to Wednesday.

The next disturbance will move through Sunday, bringing cold air and the potential for low-elevation rain and high-elevation snow, though that disturbance will mean snow for the High Country as early as Saturday.
