The weather pattern is changing. This time it's changing towards warmer weather. We're saying goodbye to the 40s and 50s and hello to the 60s and 70s!
Friday will be a really nice afternoon! With just a few fair weather clouds around, temperatures will climb into the 60s and 70s.
For the weekend, we will cool off slightly; highs dropping by about 5 degrees. A lot of the cooling will be due to more cloud cover around. So on Saturday, don't expect a lot of sunshine. Most of us will stay relatively cloudy into the afternoon. The clouds will even bring some spotty showers. The majority of the wet weather will stay in the higher elevations, but even from I-25 and east, a few spotty showers and t-showers can't be ruled out. At this point, the computer models are taking almost all of the lower-level moisture out for Sunday. So if you have any Easter egg hunts planned for Sunday, you should be just fine.
Next week looks beautiful. From Monday through Wednesday temperatures will get a significant boast as highs will climb into the 70s and 80s!
Enjoy the sun and warmth on Friday... Meteorologist Valerie Abati
