Today is the last day of summer! Expect a beautiful day today with plenty of sunshine across the region with highs above average for this time of year in the 70s/80s. It'll mostly clear later tonight with overnight lows in the 50s for most.
Fall officially starts Sunday at 2:44pm (MDT). A fall-like storm will impact Southern Colorado Sunday. Scattered showers and storms are expected throughout the day up in the mountains. A few isolated showers and storms are possible over the I-25 corridor and the Southeastern Plains late in the day. Winds will gradually pick up as well over the lower elevations gusting to around 30 mph at times during the afternoon and evening hours.
The first half of the workweek looks great with lots of sunshine around plus comfortable highs in the 70s/80s. Another system is forecast to impact the region Thursday and Friday.
