Warm and dry are the weather words for the week

Warm, westerly breezes will continue for much of the week. These are our famous "Chinook" winds that boost the temps and lower the relative humidity readings. The good news is that it's going to feel like Springtime. Just be cautious, because the fire danger will increase day by day. A RED FLAG WARNING will be in effect on Tuesday from noon to 8 PM for most of our eastern counties. As the weekend arrives, breezes will increase and a cold front will move in on Sunday, bringing a chance for a shower or two (and perhaps some thunder) and leaving us cooler on Monday.
