It's a chance to help the Pueblo Animal Shelter with the hope of cutting down on the stray cat population on the streets.

You may have seen billboards around town that say "wanted" with a picture of a cat.

It's all part of the "Cats to Fix" campaign, and it's for residents in zip code 81004.

If you live in this area and see or feed any stray cats, the animal shelter will give you a trap so you can bring the cat in to be spayed or neutered for free.

It's possible through donations and a grant from Petsmart charities.

The program started Wednesday and will go through the end of the year.

In that zip code, they hope to spay or neuter 1,004 cats.
