Waldo Canyon Fire now 80% contained

The Waldo Canyon Fire is now 80% surrounded after burning 18,247 acres. Most of the charred land is on U.S. Forest Service land. There are still more than 1,200 fire crews working the lines, but some are being released as they get the upper hand on the fire.
Also new tonight, fire crews estimate they'll get the fire 100% contained by July 8th.
