COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - Firefighters expect to fully contain the Waldo Canyon wildfire by Friday.

So far, containment lines have been built around 90 percent of the Colorado Springs fire that destroyed nearly 350 homes. Crews also got some help early Thursday from some rain that fell on the 28-square-mile blaze.

Authorities are still investigating how it started.

Rain also fell on a 25,000-acre blaze that's been burning for nearly two months near Pagosa Springs. More thunderstorms are expected at the Little Sand fire, which is 40 percent contained, through the weekend.

A 10,000-acre fire near Mancos is 90 percent contained.
