Rob Quirk is talking to southern Colorado voters in advance of tonight's presidential debate in Denver.
While some voters I spoke with in Colorado Springs have already made up their mind, they still want to hear the candidates speak face-to-face specifically about how they would lead the country the next four years.
Others I spoke with said emphatically they would not watch tonight's debate. They are disillusioned by what they termed the 'white noise' generated by the candidates, the campaigns, partisan media analysts, and others.
I will have more on what voters have to say in my live report at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. tonight from the University of Denver.
We will have more debate coverage and analysis during a special News 5 debate special from 9-9:30 p.m. tonight following NBC's two-hour coverage of the debate and a full wrap-up of debate number one on News 5 at 10.
