Voters have turned in half of the city ballots

Of the more than 154,000 ballots mailed out by the Colorado Springs City Clerk's office for Tuesday's mayoral election, voters have turned in about half of them.

So far, the city clerk's office has received 77,536 ballots. It also has had 5,709 ballots returned as undeliverable. The clerk's office has reissued 45 undeliverable ballots.

Again, ballots must be turned in by 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 17.
