COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - Lindsey Vonn is one of seven American winter athletes signed on to "I Compete Clean," a U.S. Anti Doping Agency initiative to promote drug-free sports.

Vonn, expected to be one of the stars of the upcoming Winter Olympics, is joined by Tim Burke (biathlon), Julie Chu (ice hockey), Rachael Flatt from Colorado Springs(figure skating), Erin Hamlin (luge), Trevor Marsicano (speedskating) and Augusto Perez (paralympics) in the USADA program unveiled Wednesday.

As part of the program, they take pledges to compete clean and challenge other athletes - at elite, developmental and recreational levels - to take the same pledge.

Olympic officials plan 2,000 urine and blood tests at the Vancouver Games - 800 more than during the 2006 Olympics.
