Volunteers "Rake Up Pueblo" this weekend

Pueblo's Senior Resource Development Agency - helping local senior citizens - is trying to get rid of those pesky leaves. Several organizations and school groups went around the city Saturday to help with the Rake Up Pueblo Project.

An estimated 500 volunteers helped clear more than 100 lawns across Pueblo.

One resident who had Pueblo West High School Students stop by and rake the leaves out of her lawn tells News 5 it was a big help; it might have been too big of a job to do on her own.

A teacher with the Pueblo West students says they like to see their students giving extra time on the weekend to help out.
