Volunteer trail workers needed

Volunteers are needed to work on a trail in Cheyenne Mountain State Park on Saturday, October 13.
The trail will eventually lead to the top of Cheyenne Peak.
Volunteers should meet at the visitor center at Cheyenne Mountain State Park at 8 a.m. Please RSVP with volunteer coordinator Stacey Lewis at Stacey.Lewis@state.co.us prior to Saturday, Oct. 13. Bring gloves, lunch, lots of water, good working shoes, and layered clothing. Tools will be provided. Trail crew leaders will be on hand to give direction to less experienced volunteers who would like to gain trail-building experience. The workday will conclude around 3 p.m.
All volunteers who work 48 hours or more at Colorado State Parks will receive a free annual park pass.
