Vista Ridge High School closed Monday

Students who attend Vista Ridge High School in District 49 will be able to enjoy a 3 day weekend. The district says all classes are cancelled for Monday due to damage in the building. A small fire in an electrical room set off the sprinkler system in an academic wing, and that caused some water damage. Crews will be working to clean up the damaged areas to get the school back open as soon as possible.
