Vigil held for Canon City teen, killed in car crash

Hundreds gatherd at the site of a fatal accident in Penrose tonight, to remember a 17 year old Canon City girl killed in a crash this morning.
State Patrol says Samantha Gaunt died after her car hit a tree on 4th St. just before 10 a.m. Eyewitnesses say the girl's car hit a snowy patch and spun off the road. She was prounounced dead at the scene.
Troopers say Gaunt may have been speeding and she wasn't wearing her seatbelt.
