Hurricane Irene is bearing down on the East Coast. This photo, taken from the International Space Station, shows just how massive the storm is. NASA astronaut Mike Fossum, who's on board the ISS, said Irene looks "terrifying from above."
The latest models show Hurricane Irene making landfall possibly near Morehead City, North Carolina, on Saturday morning, then moving up the East Coast. The governors of North Carolina, Virginia, New Jersey and New York have already declared states of emergency.
