Veterans honored with parade in Avondale

For the tenth year, a ceremony and parade in Avondale honors veterans and military men and women.
All different branches of the military from around Colorado came together to be honored along Highway 50.
Those living and those who have passed on were saluted and remembered with a 21-gun salute and the playing of Taps.
Parade-goers say it's an amazing way to honor their family and friends that paid the ultimate sacrifice.
