Vestas plant begins layoffs

Vestas in Pueblo is laying off employees today. News 5 has spoken with several employees who say they were called in and notified today they would lose their jobs. Others have been told they'll be reassigned to other jobs.
We have no word on how many people are affected and so far the company has not issued a statement.
The Pueblo Vestas plant manufacturers the masts which hold up it's massive wind generators. It employees about 450 at an industrial park on the south side of Pueblo.
