Very high fire danger across Colorado

A Red Flag Warning has been expanded to cover all of the plains of northeast and east central Colorado and the northern Front Range Foothills. In our area the warning includes Teller, Lincoln and Elbert counties. Wind, low humidity and dry fuels mean very high fire danger. If a fire should start it will burn out of control quickly under these weather conditions. The warning will be in effect until 8pm.
