BROOMFIELD, Colo. (AP) - Vail Resorts has acquired Northstar-at-Tahoe Resort in California for $63 million cash.
The Broomfield, Colorado-based company said Monday it acquired the stock of the companies that operate Northstar-at-Tahoe from Booth Creek Resort Properties LLC and other sellers.
Vail Resorts will lease the land on which the resort operates from CNL Lifestyle Properties Inc.
Vail Resorts is seeking a new general manager for the resort.
Vail Resorts also operates Heavenly in California and Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge and Keystone in Colorado.
