Colorado Springs Utilities staff is recommending that water restrictions are relaxed for the city.
That will be presented to the Utilities Board today. They are asking for one more day added.
Utilities will also recommend allowing households to use up to 2,500 cubic feet of water before surcharges are imposed. Right now homes can use up to 2,000 cubic feet.
If approved, City Council would consider it July 23. New regulations would take effect August 1.
We have a camera at the Utilities Board and we'll let you know what they decide.
