USA Pro Cycling Challenge kicks off in the Springs tomorrow

The USA Pro Cycling Challenge rides through Colorado Springs tomorrow. 

Cyclists start at Garden of the Gods, go down Colorado Ave. through Old Colorado City, and then finish downtown. Because of the race Colorado Ave. will be closed tomorrow from Tejon to 31st. Crews will start closing the road at 11:00 a.m., it will be completely closed by noon and isn't expected to reopen until after 4:30 p.m.

The Pro Cycling Challenge is a seven day, 510 mile race. The prologue is in the Springs and from there cyclists compete in six stages, through several parts of the state, for more on the race, click here.
